KK53 STUDIOS is located on the beautiful Kesselskade alongside river Maas, very centrally located to the University and College, the central station, stores and entertainment venues.

Public transport - train station and buses in the direct neighbourhood.
At 10 minutes walking distance you are at the central station where you can take buses and trains to all directions. In addition, the Market is a 5-minute walk away and many city buses depart from here.

University & College on walking - or biking distance from the studios.
The University and College are quickly reached by bike or on foot thanks to the central location. And with the bicycle storage on the closed courtyard, your bike is safe.

Facilities

The complex with 24 studios is equipped with all the conveniences for living, studying and relaxing. Each studio has its own address and features:

• Private intercom system
• Mailbox (located at the central entrance)
• Washing machines, dryers, irons, ironing boards and vacuum cleaners in the basement
• WIFI network
• Private storage room
• Bicycle storage on closed courtyard

 

Safety

The building has been issued an occupancy permit by the municipality, confirming that it has been constructed in accordance with the latest building regulations and safety legislation.

The entire complex is equipped with interconnected smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors near the heating systems, powder fire extinguishers on all landings, in the common areas and in the laundry basement, fire hose reels on every floor, and a dry riser system connecting the street to the building for use by the fire brigade.

Each studio is individually equipped with a smoke detector, a fire blanket, and an emergency escape plan. All upholstery and floor coverings used throughout the studios are certified fire-retardant to T4 classification.

Studios located on the first and second floors are provided with a secondary escape route by means of foldable Yomi escape ladders. All safety equipment is inspected every two years by a certified inspection company.
